About:-
Cinnamon leaf essential oil comes from Cinnamon Verum and also called true Cinnamon tree or Ceylon Cinnamon tree from the Laurel (Lauraceae) plant family. This Cinnamon tree is small and the bushy evergreen tree is native to Sri Lanka and southern India but now grows in many countries such as Brazil, Egypt, Vietnam, and Indonesia. The tree is rest-coloured and can grow up to 15 metres (45feet), but is kept down to 6 feet for commercial reasons. The flowers are small and white and the berries are oval in shape and bluish-white in colour. The leaves have a spicy smell when rubbed. Cinnamon oil is ideal to be applied on skin directly and provides an excellent effect on the skin. This oil was used as a medicine and spice since the ancient times.

Uses:-
Cinnamon leaf oil has a variety of health and beauty benefits. It can be used as an antibacterial and antifungal agent. It can also be used in aromatherapy as a relaxant. This oil is very strong and must be used sparingly. The oil also acts as a tonic to the mind and body, reducing drowsiness and bringing a welcome boost to flagging energy levels if you are suffering from exhaustion or burn-out. It is excellent for easing muscular aches and pains, arthritis and rheumatism.
