Cinnamon essential oil comes from a Cinnamomum Verum plant. This plant grows in Sri Lanka, India, China, Bangladesh and Indonesia. However, today, this plant is planted in many countries of the world and used for the extracting of cinnamon oil, which is characterized by a spicy- sweet flavour and alluring fragrance. Cinnamon originates in Sri Lanka and is the cinnamon variety considered to be of the highest quality. The Cinnamon Verum tree thrives in tropical regions with heavy rainfall and temperatures between 27-30°C, sometimes reaching a height of up to 45 feet if allowed to grow freely, this cinnamon botanical is characterized by its glossy, leathery, oval-shaped leaves, its thick, rust coloured bark that rolls itself into tubes when dried, and for it’s small white flowers, all of which are deeply aromatic. Cinnamon oil is steam distilled from the bark of the Cinnamomum Zeylanicum tree. Well known for its extensive use as a spice and natural food flavouring. Cinnamon bark oil also has many therapeutic benefits. It promotes circulation helping to alleviate sore muscles and joints helps to maintain a healthy immune system and has long been used for its internal health benefits. This oil has traditionally been used for fast relief of infections of the bladder and digestive tract, as well as enzymatic deficiency in the gut.

Uses:-
The traditional use of Cinnamon Bark essential oil is highly respected because of the antiseptic and antimicrobial properties of the oil. This oil is wonderfully rich aroma and is also used as a sexual stimulant, though it should not be used externally on sensitive skin due to its powerful nature a diffuser would be best to experience this effect.
