Allium Sativum is a perennial flowering plant growing from a bulb. It has a tall, erect flowering stem that grows up to 1m. The bulb by which it is grown contains 10 to 20 cloves that are asymmetric in shape, except for those closest to the centre. Allium sativum grow in the wild/tropical areas where it become neutralize. It is easy to grow and can be grown year round in mild climates. These plants can be grown closely together, leaving enough space for the bulbs to mature, and are easily grown in containers of sufficient depth. Garlic does well in loose, dry, well-drained soils in sunny locations. Harvesting of garlic is done in the late spring or early summer. Garlic is widely used around the world as a seasoning or condiment and for medicinal purposes because of its pungent, spicy flavour. It is one of the most powerful antiseptic essential oil delivering important usage for decongesting and detoxifying as well as having beneficial effects on blood and circulation.
