About:-
Ajowan is a herbaceous annual plant growing up to a height of 60-90 cm. This herb bears white flowers and small brownish fruits. Ajowan essential oil is obtained from the seeds of the well known herb called Trachyspermum Copticum. The oil is distilled by the process of Steam Distillation. This herb has been in use since centuries in several cultures for its aromatic and healing properties. Ajowan oil is a antibacterial, anti-infectious, anti-fungal, anti-microbial, antiseptic, antispasmodic, and anti-viral.

• P-Cymene
• alpha- Pinene
• Limonene
• Gamma-Terpinene
Uses:-
The high content of thymol makes Ajowan oil ideal for medicinal uses. Ajowan oil is an Ayurvedic remedy for the treatment of physical symptoms like sinus congestion, constipation, dyspepsia, and stagnation in respiratory as well as digestive tracts. Ajowan seeds essential oil is used in aromatherapy to reduce the frequency and severity of asthma attacks, it quickly reduces the inflammation in the airways and calms muscle spasms.
