Description
About:-
Citrus bergamia is a small tree which blossoms during the winter. It is found in Southern Calabria however 80% of its cultivation takes place in Southern Italy and is also found in Southern Turkey and Southern France. The fruits beared from this plant are collected in the month of November and December. The juice of the fruit has also been used in Calabrian indigenous medicine to treat malaria. The essential oil is obtained by the peel of the bergamot fruit by the process of Steam Distillation. Bergamot essential oil has sweet-yet-tart smell, and its essential oil is popular in aromatherapy applications.

Uses:-
The essential oil can be used in stress, tension, fear, infection (all types including skin), hysteria, eczema and general convalescence. Bergamot oil is used in perfumes, creams, lotions, soap and suntan oils.
