About:-
Cupressus Sempervirens is a tall pyramidal, columnar tree with slender branches covered with small pale yellow green shiny leaves . Height of these tree is up to 12 to 20 metres (39-65 feet) bears small flowers and cones. Cupressus Sempervirens is believed to originate from Eastern Mediterranean and also cultivated for production of essential oil. The fragrance of Cypress oil is fresh, green and coniferous aroma similar to pine and juniper with sweet and balsamic undertone. Cypress essential oil is used in cosmetic industries for fragrance.

Uses:-
Cypress is an effective in vasoconstrictor, which help to open narrow dilated blood vessels. This essential oil is also use in detoxifying action , muscular cramps and spasms, rheumatism and arthritis. Cypress essential oil helps in asthma and spasmodic coughs response. It also helps in clear blocked sinuses and stuffy noses. This makes it an excellent oil to use during the menopause as well as the monthly cycle where it can be helpful with dysmenorrhoea. This oil also used in strengthening and relaxing of the mind. Cypress oil has the power to stop excess blood flow and it promotes the clotting of blood. This is due to its hemostatic and astringent properties.
