German Chamomile is one of the most important aromatic plants that are used to extract essential oil of high quality. The German Chamomile essential oil from Nepal is of much demanded type of essential oil. Chamomile German of the flower and leaf plant are more effective for extraction of essential oil. The cultivation of Chamomile German is done in the month of October, November, in moist land in planned structure. The harvesting of cultivated plant is done only in morning or evening.
Chamomile German (Blue) essential oil used in several medicinal preparations in Europe and the traditional Unani/ Homeopathic medicine prevalent in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Nepal. The essential oil obtained from the capitulate is the major ingredient in Chamomile based health care products. The flower oil is used in flavouring, perfumery, cosmetic industries and aromatherapy.

Uses:-
German Chamomile oil is broadly used in the cosmetic industries, specially in formulations designed to improve dry, inflamed or irritated skin. This oil has carminative, antispasmodic, mild sedative, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and antibacterial properties. Chamomile oil is anti-allergenic, and the oil help to cure acne by removing toxins and cleaning sebaceous and eccrine glands through sweating. Chamomile German (Blue) used in aromatherapy and natural perfumery.
