Description
About:-
Wintergreen oil is traditionally extracted from the leaves of the wintergreen plant by the process of Steam Distillation or Water Distillation. Wintergreen leaves themselves are actually tasteless and odorless, but after the extraction of oil, the signature minty aroma develops. The oil naturally has a sweet and fresh scent. It has a wide variety of uses in teas, foods, beauty products, household and aromatherapy. Wintergreen oil can be attributed to its properties as an astringent, antiseptic, arthritic, analgesic and anti-inflammatory. Wintergreen oil is also used in some perfumery applications, toothpaste, chewing gum, soft drinks, confectionery, listerine and mint flavourings.
