Botanically Juniper Berry Oail is known as Juniperus Communis with its origin roots in East Europe. It is Pale Yellow in color with crisp, earthy, sweet and herbaceous, with almost a hidden fruity note. It is extracted by CO2 Extraction method from the berries as well as needles and the wood. The oil which is extracted from the berries is of superior quality than that extracted from the needles and the wood.
USES:-
Juniper Oil is very popular ingredient in masculine, outdoor type perfumes and after shave lotions due to its spicy and woody aroma. It is used as fragrance in soaps, detergents, cosmetic and spicy perfumes and also added in floral waters. This oil has very significant role in the treatment of nervous tension, addictions, hangovers, to stimulate the nervous system, and over indulgence of food. When used in creams and lotions, this oil can be useful for oily skin and acne and other inflammatory skin ailments. It is also extensively used in some food products and to flavor some alcoholic drinks.
BENEFICIAL PROPERTIES:-
The therapeutic properties of this oil are anti-rheumatic, antiseptic, astringent, antispasmodic, depurative, carminative, rubefacient, diuretic, stomachic, stimulating, vulnerary, sudorific and tonic. It is used for treating arthritis, rheumatism, gout, acne, cellulite, blocked pores, dermatitis, psoriasis and weeping eczemas. This oil generally helps with the digestive system, particularly in cases of obesity and premenstrual bloating. It has a tonic effect for the liver and helps regulate the menstrual cycle. It assists with the eradication of uric acid. Juniper Oil can also be used diluted to compress general infections.

Juniper oil blends very well with cypress, cedarwood, grapefruit, geranium, lavandin, lavender, lime, bergamot, clary sage, vetiver, and lemongrass.
