About:-
Balsam Peru monumental tree stands 25 metres high and is predominantly found in the Cordilleradel Balsamo, the mountain range in the northwest of USA. It grows at altitudes of 600 to 1500 meters. When wounded, the trees trunk and branches exude a thick, brown fragrant resin via many secretary ducts. The aroma is a mix of sweet and spicy, reminiscent of clove, vanilla and cinnamon. This unique aroma makes it useful in aromatherapy. One must be careful when applying this oil topically, as many have shown allergic reactions to it.

Uses:-
Balsam Peru oil is highly used in fragrance components in soap, detergents, perfumes, lotion and creams. This oil help in cleansing the body of toxins and waste materials. This oil is antiseptic, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, balsamic, stimulant, wounds, indolent, dry chapped skin. Peru Balsam is comforting and calming to the nervous system.
