CO2 Fennel Seed Oil is made from Foeniculum vulgare. It is identified as colourless transparent oil. It is extracted from the seeds of an herb by CO2 Extraction. Fennel is well known for use in food products. The largest producing countries for fennel are Hungary, Germany and Italy. It is loaded with properties of antifungal, analgesic, diuretic, expectorant, laxative and carminative. Fennel oil has an herby, slightly spicy smell. The chemical components of fennel oil include – myrcene, pinene, trans-anethole, fenchone, and anisic aldehyde. The name fennel comes from the Latin word ‘foenum’ which means ‘hay’.
USES:-
Fennel Oil is used as an antiseptic ingredient in creams, cosmetics and essential oils.
